Piano lessons that I "had" to take as a child have turned out to be a tremendous gift in my retirement.  I play an hour or two almost every day, and enjoy it more and more each day.  I thank my mom for the incentive that she provided in those resistant early years.  I don't get to play much for her in person, so this is a way of giving back to her the gift of music.  Thanks mom.
